Ohio-Related Democratic Party Organizations:

  • Allen County Democratic Party: News and information about Democratic candidates, elected officials and events for the county and Ohio.
  • Blanchard Valley Young Democrats: The vision of the Blanchard Valley Young Democrats is to serve the community as a whole through actively embodying and striving to promote the values of the Democratic party.
  • Hardin County Democratic Party: Working to rebuild the Democratic base so that all Ohioans and Hardin County residents share in the dream of a better life.
  • Ohio Democratic Leadership Institute:  The Ohio Democratic Leadership Institute is an innovate project being lead by Fred Strahorn. The Democratic Leadership Institute supports and shines a spotlight on the people and principles that define the character and values of the Democratic Party.
  • Ohio Democratic Party (ODP): Official site provides news and information about events, candidates, county branches and how to get involved.
  • Ohio Democratic Party Truth Team: Join the ODP Truth Team from this link. “As Democrats and progressives, we need to be the first line of defense against the Trump/Ryan agenda. One way to do that is to join the ODP Truth Team.”
  • Ohio Democratic Women’s Caucus:  The mission of the ODWC is to motivate, educate, empower and energize Democratic women by: recruiting women to run for office, increasing women’s leadership roles within Democratic politics and organizing women to elect Democrats at the local, state and national level.
  • Ohio Young Democrats: OYD is the official youth arm of the Ohio Democratic Party and is dedicated to helping Democrats under 36 become engaged in the political process.

Ohio-Related Indivisible Groups and Resources:

  • Indivisible Columbus: Indivisible group for residents of the Columbus, Ohio area.
  • Indivisible Ohio: A starting point for forming local groups in Ohio that will use the ‘Indivisible Guide’ to resist Trump’s harmful agenda.
  • Ohio District 5 Indivisible: Indivisible group for residents of Northwest Ohio, including Findlay and Bowling Green.
  • Ohio Indivisible Chapters and Groups: Compiled by the Randolph Review.
  • Ohio Resistance Guide: This new resource applies the Indivisible Model to Ohio. The creators write: “The Ohio Resistance Guide is brought to you by fellow resisters who have worked at the Ohio Statehouse in both the legislative and executive branches. We want to share what we know so that you can make your voice heard just as loudly in Columbus as you are in D.C.”

Other Ohio Organizations and Groups:

  • Green Party of Ohio: The Green Party is composed of grassroots activists, environmentalists, advocates for social justice, nonviolent resisters, and regular citizens who’ve had enough of corporate-dominated politics.
  • HOLA Ohio: HOLA is a small, grassroots organization based in NE Ohio focused on Latino advocacy, outreach, community organizing, and civic engagement.
  • Interfaith Association of Central Ohio: The IACO Mission: “To create an interfaith community based on understanding, friendship and trust.” Lima’s Interfaith Alliance does not currently have a website, but will occasionally have events that are included in the AHEAD calendar.
