The next AHEAD meeting will be this Thursday, June 21st, in Ada. It will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the first floor Dicke Forum of the Dicke College of Business at Ohio Northern University (525 S. Main Street, 45810). The College of Business is on Main Street between College Avenue and Lincoln Street. It’s a big glass-sided building, and the Dicke Forum is the largest room on the ground floor.

This month’s meeting will focus on preparation for the fall election. We will discuss how to elect progressive candidates, including registering voters and supporting candidates. We will have several great advisors present, from strategists Uma Loganathan (Ohio Democratic Party) and Jeremy Bernstein (For Ohio’s Future), to local candidates including Adam Papin (State Senate), Ronnie Eastman (County Commissioner), Tristam Cheeseman (State House), and Mike Galbraith (House of Representatives).

Activists new and old are welcome! Bring your ideas, energy, and friends. (And, if you have leftover signs from Issue 1, bring those as well, for reuse.) The meeting will include a potluck dinner.
